Grow a Row

What is “Grow a Row”?

Grow a Row is a people-helping-people initiative encouraging the gardeners of our community to plant an extra row of veggies or fruit and to share the harvest with the Food Pantry.

Where do your donations go?

Donations support the Food Pantry at Family Connection, which provides local families, children, and a growing number of seniors living on low incomes with access to healthy fruits and vegetables.

How can you help?

Whether your vegetable garden is large or small, add an additional row, bed or pot and plant something extra. Do you have a bumper crop of peppers or zucchini? Did you have an unexpected success with your potatoes? Donate those extra vegetables to the Food Pantry.

Which crops are best for donation?

All fresh produce is needed, wanted, and very much appreciated! Root vegetables are best, along with any produce that can be easily handled and stored including broccoli, cabbage, beans, tomatoes, radishes, peppers, and squash. We ask that you gently clean the produce before delivering it to the Food Pantry.

Please deliver your produce to:
