Can you recall a memory sweeter than sitting at your Thanksgiving or Christmas table surrounded by family and friends and carving a turkey or ham to share with the people you love?
By donating to Feed Fannin’s Holiday Meals Campaign, you can help us provide hams and turkeys for families in need for BOTH Thanksgiving and Christmas this year! Through the generosity of an anonymous donor, your donations to Feed Fannin between Aug. 15 and Oct. 15 will be matched up to $20,000 to help us purchase the hams and turkeys needed!
We are an all-volunteer organization and 100% funded through private donations. Approximately 90% of our expenditures are for food, food-related items and the operation of our Ada Street farm where we grow produce and donate to the local food pantry. Rising prices strain the limited income of many seniors, single parents with children, the disabled, and the infirm who struggle with impossible choices between purchasing food or paying for medicines, gas, or utilities. With your help, Feed Fannin can continue to address their basic need for food.
Recently, we have been able to expand our outreach programs to provide food to more hungry people by partnering with service and faith organizations. These organizations help to distribute the food we grow and purchase to even more hungry people. Your support will help Feed Fannin continue to fight hunger in our community, and we are so grateful for your generosity.
